Neuralink Corporation is an American company based in Fremont, California that makes brain-computer interfaces to implant them in the human brain.

They are making the future brain-computer interfaces by making gadgets that could help paralyzed people and new technologies that might make our society, the world, and our communities better.

The Neuralink device has a chip that reads and sends signals from the brain to other devices, like a phone or a computer.

Elon Musk says the company hopes that one-day people can use their minds to control a mouse, keyboard, or other computer devices, like a text messaging device. With Neuralink products, a paralyzed person can use a smartphone faster with their mind than their thumbs.

Neuralink says that its products will eventually be able to bring back neural activity in the body, letting people with spinal cord injuries move their limbs. The new company, which has offices in San Francisco and Austin, also wants to treat nervous system diseases, such as Alzheimer’s and dementia.

There is a total of 86 billion neurons in the Human Brain. Neurons are cells that send and receive information. There are many different kinds of neurons, but they all have three main parts: an axon that sends signals, a soma that processes signals, and a dendrite that receives signals.

They can communicate and send and receive messages through links between axons and dendrites called synapses. In response to action potentials, synapses let out neurotransmitters.

By attaching to receptors on dendrites, these tiny chemicals make channels that allow current to flow across the neuron’s membrane. A neuron starts an action potential when it gets the right mix of synaptic input from space and time.

Electrodes are put close to neurons so that they can pick up action potential. Neuralink can figure out what these neurons are saying by taking recordings from many of them. For example, neurons tell the parts of the brain that deal with movement what movements they should make. Neurons in the brain process information about everything we see, hear, feel, think, and feel.

Neuralink aims to make a brain-computer interface to implant them fully and almost impossible to find. It will allow people to control a computer or mobile device no matter where they are.

Threads the size of a micrometer would be inserted into the parts of the brain that control movement. Each lead is connected to an implant called a “link” that has many electrodes.

The threads on the Link are so small and soft that a human hand can’t fit through them. Instead, Neuralink made a robot that will put these threads exactly where the neurosurgeon tells them to be.

Users of the Neuralink software can control their keyboard and mouse with only their brain activity by just thinking about it.

They will be led through drills by the app that will teach them how to use the device. People can use their minds to control any mouse or keyboard if they have a Bluetooth connection.
