The recent internet leak of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) footage has caused a stir in the gaming world. While some fans are thrilled to get their first glimpse of what Rockstar Games is planning, others are concerned that this could mean delays or even cancellations for the highly anticipated game. But while there is still no official word from Rockstar on when we can expect GTA 6, one thing is certain: it will be one of the most controversial games ever released!
For those who don’t know, an anonymous hacker recently leaked around 50 minutes’ worth of work-in-progress videos to GTA Forums showing off a modern Vice City setting and two playable characters—Jason and Lucia—entering a strip club and robbing a diner. Of course, these scenes were only rough sketches, but they did give us our best look yet at what’s in store for us with GTA 6.
Unfortunately for Rockstar Games, however, the leak was far from ideal as it not only put them under immense pressure to deliver something great but also raised questions about how secure their internal networks were if someone could access such sensitive information so easily – especially since other major companies have been hacked by Lapsus$.
It also didn’t help that many people jumped onto YouTube with fake claims about having early access codes or exclusive clips, which ended up being debunked almost instantly; this further muddied the waters regarding speculation surrounding whether or not there would be any delay due to extra security measures now needing to be implemented after the breach occurred – though thankfully Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick later clarified during an earnings call that everything was “proceeding as planned” without giving away too much detail…
Despite all this negative press, however, things may not be quite so gloomy after all, thanks largely to some industry veterans like Cliff Bleszinski & Neil Druckman stepping forward and offering words of support & encouragement over social media platforms like Twitter, etc.
Plus, let’s face it: nobody expected anything less than controversy anyway, given just how big & ambitious Grand Theft Auto V turned out to be way back in 2013, right? So why should anything change now??
All jokes aside, though, ultimately, we’ll have to wait to find out more details regarding exactly when/where grand Theft Auto VI will launch, plus whatever other changes (if any)Rockstar decides to implement afterward, taking into consideration last week’s events…..
