Pac-Man

Released in 1980 by Namco (now Bandai Namco), this iconic game has become one of the most recognizable symbols in gaming history over its 40-year run. Players take control of a yellow circle named Pac-man who must traverse a maze while eating pellets and avoiding four ghosts who chase him as he goes along his way. Space Invaders

Developed by Taito Corporation in 1978, Space Invaders is widely considered one of the earliest examples ever seen on home consoles or arcade machines – paving what would later become known as modern-day shoot-’em-ups. You take control of a lone gunner at the bottom screen who must blast away alien invaders from the top side before they reach planet Earth’s surface, helping pioneer mechanics such as powerups which grant extra firepower during battle sequences!    

Super Mario Bros.

This 1985 platformer developed by Nintendo was arguably the most famous title for the NES console era due to its colorful graphics, charming characters memorable tunes – all featuring Italian plumber hero Mario now a household name worldwide thanks success series spawned after initial release such renowned sequels Mushroom Kingdom adventures, New Super Brothers, U Deluxe, Wii U, Switch Pro editions respectively. Players use running jumping skills to navigate through levels while collecting coins, grabbing special items, defeating enemies on their way to the goal flagpole, and finishing each level triumphantly. 

The Legend Of Zelda

Linking past to present 1986 action adventure created by Shigeru Miyamoto follows a young protagonist tasked with saving Princess Zelda from the evil Ganon find Triforce parts complete her ultimate quest to restore peace to Hyrule world within realm dreams called ‘The Golden Land.’ Gameplay consists of exploring dungeons solving puzzles fighting monsters, and using weapons and tools to gain access to more difficult areas leading toward a showdown against a powerful antagonist legendary artifact sought after centuries by fans everywhere, still playing up until the present-day franchise continues to evolve new entries, Breath Wild Nintendo Switch 2017 being latest installment beloved saga!
